HOW ROMANTIC ARE C.C.I. MEN?
Mention the word 'Romance' and who do we women of C.C.I. think of immediately? Richard Gere? Mario LeMieux? Patrick Swayze? Charlie Sheen? Bart Simpson? However. are the men of C.C.I. as equally able of making a girl's heart to flutter? The answer is a definite . . YES!!! Take Steve Archdekin. He likes to go for
a stroll down the beach at sunset and if you think that that isn't roman- tic enough, then just consider the time that he bought some roses for his girlfriend and sang with them! Matt Mclean, that romantic devil, wanted to impress his date so he ate pizza with a knife and fork in front of her! Talk about wanting to win a girl's
heart, Matt!!! Please don't think for a moment that only students have the monopoly on romance. Mr. Nutt- ley chose to send his significant other a dozen long stem roses for no special reason! Mr. Hunwicks re- called the time when he was on a beautiful beach in Southern Spain. It was sunset. the waves were splash-
ing up against the shore, he was in the company of a beautiful woman and what else could he do, but ... "I likely gave my best lesson ever on the causes of shore erosion!" Mr. Richmire, a member of the Math dept., also knows how to win a girl's heart (or does he???). His first date with the lady who would later be- come his wife happened to fall on
Halloween and last year on the 15th anniversary of this occasion, he sent his wife a dozen roses. However, it was the note that he included that lost him the title. He wrote, "I have been waiting 15 years for you to take off the mask!" April Venus thinks that Mr. Berni will be a really romantic guy while Lorraine MacDonald voted for Mr. Price. Kate Ralph
couldn't decide between 2 staff members. "I think Mr. Hirst would whisper sweet basketball cheers in your ear or Mr. Coukell would recite a few lines from 'My Fair Lady' using a Cockney accent."
Top Lt.: Gord Fischer decides to ask the BIG question while Joanne McNabb roles some film. "Jo ... will you ... pass me the tape, please?" Mid.: Marg Allard does not seem im- pressed with Andrew Sneyd"s "Hi! What's your sign?" Rt.: Scott Martin tries to present Lorraine Bradley with a bouquet. Nice try, Scott! It 9oes in the Caesar salad at lunch! Bot. Rl.: ·You have the nerve to ask if I, Jason Campbell, am romantic!?!?"
SIR JOHN AT C.C.I.?
It has come to the attention of 'The National Inquirer' staff that one of C.C.I.'s senior students might, in fact, be a great. great grand~on of
Canada's first Prime Minister. Sir John A. Mac- Donald. Not only is the resemblance uncanny, but there are several events that have occur- red to both gentlemen that cannot be ignored. First of all, both have Scotish roots. Secondly, both have visited Kingston, Ontario. Thirdly, Sir John married a lady named Isabella, [Darcy) Balfour knows a girl named Isabella . . the list goes on, Mr. Balfour was unavailable for com- ment.
