Enter the Collingwood Bowling Lanes and you will recently see Jim Lewin's name. This 18 year old bowler has been named Ontario Senior Boys Bowling Champion and he is among 12 qualifers for the Senior Boys Tournament to be held in Truro, Nova Scotia in May. A bowler for eight years, he began at the early age of 10. If he wins this title, he will be the only Collingwood athlete to take this title since 1966. Good luck, Jim!
After snowboarding for four years, Kale Stephens is one man who has carved a name for himself on the hills. He can be seen reg- ularly at Blue Mountain where he practices for his over-Easter week-end trip to Whistler, B.C. to particiapte in the Canadian Snow- boarding Championships. He was able to head west after qualifying through the On- tario Snowboarding Association. Good luck, Kale!
Robyn MacNicol is a well-known face around the halls of CCI, but she is perhaps even more recognized at the Mariposa National Training Centre in Barrie where she figure skates under coach Michelle Leigh. Now in her 14 year on the ice, she began when she was four and is presently working on her 7th fig- ure and gold freeskate. She has completed her gold dances (highest dance test) and competes at the Junior Ladies competitive level. After competing in the Central Ontario Champion- ships, she resumed her studies at CCI.
