"Our main goal in visual arts is to provide studetns with opportunities to be creative and to communicate". The most rewarding parts of this whole creative process are the evaluating, sharing and admiring ofthe art works of each student. This year, we have had opportunities to see a turn over of student art in the newly refurbished "Art Display Hall", complete with it's brightly coloured wall graphics. The two show cases of three dimensional work are favourite stops along the hall. One of the fea- tured shows in the hall this January were the art works of this year's adult art class. Other locations for viewing our art is the showcase in the upper hall, the library foyer and the staff room. Student art was shown in the Col- lingwood Library Gallery during the month of March. The OAC/Graduating show, will be held at the MacLaren Art Centre during the month ofJune. Lastly, but certainly not least, are the accomplishments i~ the Information Design class and the Photography class. They maintain the distinction of having created one of the best year- books in North America.
