You enter this world to be immediately granted a birth weight and a certificate number and from that moment on, you are on the receiving end of an infinite array of numbers. When you turn 16 and are allowed behind the wheel of Dad's car, you're in possession of a numbered licence. Upon entering the work force, you apply for a social insurance number. Even your li- brary card has a numbered code. It sometimes gets to a point where you feel that you are simply another statistic. The only thing that often differentiates you from the next person is the last few digits on a plastic card. At Collingwood Collegiate, how- ever, we know that YOU ARE NOT JUST A FACE IN THE CROWD! Each ofyou have a special talent or trait that makes you stand up high above the others. It is by no accident that our school has a superb reputation not only throughout Simcoe County and the province, but now throughout the world as well.
YOU have helped make this a great school and it is a pleasure to walk down the halls of C.C.I. and see your face. You simply don't blend into the crowd. We are extremely proud of you and your endeavours, no matter how large or small!
