The team was pleased to come several new members this year, including Cathy Gillies, Tara 'Ibsh, (CENTRE, L-R) Heidi Fisher, Andrew Willis and Jamie Heggedal. These skiers gained valuable experience dur- ing the season.
This was a gratifying season for the Nordic Ski Team as four of its members qualified for the OFSAA championships held at Hardwood Hills. (BOTTOM L) FR. ROW: Ashlynne Lang and Brianna Wypich competed in Jr. Girls while William Reiber com- peted in Jr.. Boys and Brendan Wypich in Sr. Boys (BK ROW). All four had great results, plac- ing in the top third of their field.
Veterans, Jason Lang and Mike Dunning (BELOW) continued their chase for success at the Sr. Boys' level with Mike just miss- ing a spot on the OFSAA team this year.
This season will be remem- bered by all as one of the cold- est on record, but the spirit ofthe team provided a warmth that kept us all going.
