CCI's Cross Country Running Team was a dedicated lot during this "rebuilding" year. The Midget Girls' Team placed sev- enth overall in Simcoe County while the Junior Boys' Team finished eighth. Unfor- tunately, injury hampered other perform- ers during the season and no one managed to qualify for OFSAA. Still, CCI did itself proud by hosting the highly successful GBSSA's at Duntroon Highlands.

Although small, the '93 CCI Track T eam produced some outstanding results. From an original team of 18 athletes, 13 qualified for the GB's.
After earning first place GBSSA ribbons, Marilese Keller finished 6th in Discus while Andrea Lacerte was 18th in High Jump at OFSAA. School records were set by Marilese in Sr. Girls' Shot Put and Dis- cus, by Jennifer Egan in Sr. Girls' Triple Jump, Tyler Spies in Jr. Boys' High Jump, and Jamie Robinson in Jr. Boys' Shot Put.
