This year's Wrestling Team,
much like last year's, consisted
of mainly rookies and very few
seasoned veterans. Despite the
lack of experience, there was cer-
tainly no lack of talent or effort.
This combination resulted in the
team having another stellar sea-
son. This season also marked the
beginning of Girls' Wrestling, tin, Coach Sneyd (2ND) one of the fastest growing sports
in Canada. Our girls started out slowly, but quickly became very competitive.
The team attended a total of 15 meets/ tournaments that saw 120 medals and six top 3 team fin- ishes come to C.C.I. At the G.B.S.S.A. Championships, held at our school, there were 4 cham- pions and 4 others that qualified for O.F.S.A.A. At the Ontario Championship, the team did well capturing a bronze medal with Melissa Pearce and Jen Forgie
