It was shortly after Thanksgiving and at C.C.I, he race was on to replenish the Salvation \rmy's Food Bank. Under the leadership ofMi- :helle Lloyd, C.C.I's students brought in over ilOO pounds offood over 2 weeks. But the food !rive wasn't without some serious competition. \.fter the first week, Mr. Jardine's and Mr. Iamlin's homerooms were neck and neck, hav- ng brought in more food than the rest of the :lasses combined and Mr. Redmond's homeroom 'lasn't far behind. Within the next week,
the leading homeroom changed every day with each class determined to bring in the most non- perishable food for the grand prize - a pizza party, courtesy of Student Council. Then the unthink- able happened on the last day of the food drive. Mr. Hamlin's homeroom took a huge lead, but Mr. Jardine's will to win took over and on the last morning Mr. Jardine's homeroom made an amazing comeback and won the food drive hav- ing brought in over 300 non-perishable food items. Shortly after, C.C.I. students formed a
chain from the school to the Salvation Army. With each food item passed, it helped to bring us one step closer to a world without hunger. Layout by Ian Lamont and Dan Hol- ler. Photos by Ms. Greer and Ken Boone
