 (THIS PG) The STUDENTS AGAINST VIOLENCE (TOP LT) organized a successful White Ribbon Campaign during the week of December 4 -8th. Various activities happened to make the students aware of how to combat violence di- rected at women. Announcements were made to the entire student body giving information on the extent of the issue. During lunch a display was set up with White Ribbons avail- able for males to wear and Red Rose buttons available for females to wear. Proceeds collected will be given to the lo- cal women's shelter. 'My Friend's House'. Members of this group were (BK ROW) Hugh Stimson, Rosalyn Turner, Jenny Miller (FA) Lindsay Osburn, Michelle Lloyd, Bryon Johnson
+ Ms. Lock, The DANCE CLUB (BOT AT) at C.C.I. was a small group of dancers who were interested in learning all the basic ballroom moves - waltz, Foxtrot, Jive, Cha Cha, Rhumba. The old traditional ballroom dances from Scotland were learned for St. Andrews and Robbie Burns Day. With the revival of celtic arts in this area, step dancing in square sets to Cape Breton fiddles such as Ashley Maclssac made this group dance up a storm.
