More than 40 students were members of this year's OUTER'S CLUB. In Sep- tember, 13 students and 4 staff members returned top the wilds of Tonawanda for a 4 day trip. Memorable moments of this time include - Anne's + Jesse's antics around the campfire, the Indian Lookout Hike + view, moose sightings and great food. In October, a weekend hiking trip along the Cyprus Lake portion of the Bruce Trail involved 28 students and 5 staff. The hikers will always recall -the climb down to the Grotto, great scenery, the lunch on the pebble beach, slippery rocks + wet trousers, sunshine and fall
colours, Jeremy's webbing and specialty desserts + campfires and friendship . In the spring, a 4 day hike to Algonquin Park and the usual canoe training session in late May at the Gorelands near Dorset are in the plans. This programme will train the Outers for the fall canoe trip. TOP LT.: Brad Hooper knows that it is vital to wa- terproof each food pack. Rain or a dunk from the canoe could result in a hungry weekend. Jeremy Barber (TOP MID) fills the propane stoves. A hot meal will taste good with expectations of cold, rainy weather. BOT. LT: Outer's take a break at Cypress Lake. The members of the
OUTERS CLUB (MID RT) were : Ben Shaw, Tyler Fuhre, Elaine Murch, Allison Hockley, Trevor Arthur, Ben Holmlund, Don Berwin, Warren McGregor, John Buie, Amanda Kales, Brad Moran, Nick Comley, Kristin Reid, Heather Gaff, Tara Robinson , Allison Smith, Mike Winde-
