Discussions between the PEER MEDIATORS and the students in- volved, take place in a private area and all information is confidential. Dif- ferent types of conflicts are mediated. Our PEER MEDIATORS have dealt with gossip and rumours, threats and harassments, as well as boyfriend and girlfriend disputes. They have also dealt with physical alterations and the use of abusive language sit- uations. The PEER MEDIATORS have been trained and are great list- ners, empathetic, non-judgemental and are able to maintain confidential- ity .
Our 1995-96 PEER MEDIATORS are Bethan Fraser, Carrie Rogers, Ja- net Hughes, Blair Stransky , Carmen McKee, Deborah Heasman and Ja- son Aspin. They are the pioneers of this new program which help students resolve their conflicts.

ence . The students in the SOUND and LIGHTING CREW provide a ser- vice to the school by setting up equip- ment for productions, speeches, and anything else that seems to come along. They work hard and some- times come many hours prior to the productions to make it the best that they can.
The members of the SOUND and LIGHTING CREW are Rob Reid, Jon- athan Bruce, Darren Johnston, Dus- tin Muller , and Nathan McEwan.
The OSAID ASSOCIATION con- sists of a group of very hard working students. Throughout the past year, they have increased the school's awareness of impaired driving -through assemblies, activities, and displays. Impaired driving is a seri- ous issue which affects many people in Canada every year. Hopefully, the
twice before driving under the influ- ence or getting into a vehicle with someone who is impaired.
The members of OSAID are Miss. Venture, Ahlynne Lang, Maggie Hark- ness , Michelle Llyod, Lonica Henne- bury, and Devon Mcinnes.
The GLEANER REPS provide val· uable assistance in selling the year- book to fellow students and the teachers in their homerooms.
