MR.HENR Y HAJDUK, teacher, coach, and colleague. is tiring from Collingwood Collegiate after teaching 25 years.
Mr.Haiduk began his teaching career in the Elementary system Scarborough where he taught for 14 years. In 1974, he joined the 1ff at Collingwood Collegiate and taught primarily in the Geography
td Physical Education Departments.
Mr.Haiduk has been an exceptional contributor to the success of
.C.I.'s athletic program. His expertise is SKIING which he taught at lue Mountain from 1969-74. He has organized and run numerous ski eets at both local and international levels. He has coached C.C.I. !pine teams to a phenomenal 23 Gold Medal Championships at the ·ovinciallevel, a feat unsurpassed by any other school in the province. . addition, Mr.Haiduk has coached numerous Girls' Basketball Teams. is dedication,enthusiasm and gentle manner have been appreciated by mdreds of C.C.I. athletes.
Professionally, Mr.Haiduk has represented C.C.I. staff faithfully as .eir Collective Bargaining Representative since 1974.
Mr.Haiduk is an avid sportsman who loves to ski in the winter and indsurf in the summer. In 1988, he was the Masters Canadian l indsurfing Champion. He has two grown daughters , Nicole and rista, who both attended C.C.I. He and his wife, Cathy, have recently
arted a new family with son, Cody.

A new face at C.C.I. in sec- ond semester this year is Mr. Alan Pollock from Australia (PHOTO LEFT). While he is teaching History and Writer's Craft here this semester, Mr. Rod Bennett is teaching cor- responding classes on ex- change in Australia with his family .
Mr. Pollock's family consists of his wife, Reyleen, who is working in computer software sales, and his two daughters, Jessica and Natalie (9 & 7) who are attending Admiral Collingwood School.

We certainly agree with you, Mr. Pollock! Everyone in Col- lingwo~d ec~oes y~ur sentiments after experiencing a very long, bttter Wtnter wtth record snowfalls, icy roads and "snow days". Ahhh - summer! We're more than ready.
Another familiar face at C.C.I. is Attendance Counsellor, Mrs. Norma Orazetti Ironside, pictured above in a meeting with Co- op student, Rashell Ross, who has been learning first hand during second semester, the role of Attendance Counsellor in her placement at Worsley, Birchview Dunes and Connaught elementary schools.
