Five years ago, you would not have believed it! Books have been written about it, but you had to see it with your own eyes! You had to experience .it with yo~r own presence in order to make it seem possible! Who would ever believe t~at1500 peo- ple - all of various ages, shapes and sizes - could have united together to form one terrific high school known as Collingwood Collegiate Institute? Teachers, students, support staff, ad- ministrc:ttion, secretaries and custodjans all warJ~ed together in close harmony. In a time of strife where 'the world couldn't seem to agree on such issues as the O.J. Simpson verdict or the referendum, such co-hesiveness was a rarity! The existence of a school such as this had to be fiction - no, it was STRANGER THAN FICTION!
