CYSTOSPORADIASIS ... HUH?
Unless you are a resident of the Collingwood area, you would not likely have heard of this odd term. It refers to the nasty little parasite that invaded our water supply in March, forcing us to boil our drinking water and drink mineral water for several weeks. Anyone unwittingly drink- ing town water during this time was faced with some fairly turbulent symptoms. Some victims were left bed-ridden for days! The only positive aspect of this invasion is that it may be the basis of another Hollywood film production in our town: a science-fiction flick entitled "Three Para- sites in the Fountain". Watch for it at our local cinema!
