The 1996 Junior Football season started off on a positive note with a 14 to 12 victory over Barrie North. But that was all she wrote! We went winless for the rest of the season. What can we learn from such a sea- son? It proves that sport must be much more than just winning games (even though winning has a seductive appeal). The '96 team was comprised of about 25 very worth while individuals who devoted a lot of time and effort to the team. What benefit did they derive?
