BOYS + GIRLS CURLING TEAMS
Once again the Curling Teams at Col- lingwood Collegiate had another successful season . The sheets were filled with many new curlers trying the sport for the first time as well as many seasoned veterans. The teams also boasted the most coaches for a team - many thanks go to Coaches Shepherd, Ley, Wilkin- son, Phillips, Greer and Bennett.
The Boys Team was one of the most com- petitive that CCI has seen in a long time. They narrowly missed going to GBSSA. However, they were able to defeat their cross-town rivals, Jean Vanier High School, in both Girls and Boys division. Members of the Boys Curl- ing Team (TOP) were: Shane Bannerman, Mike Beattie, Mark Couglin, Mike Kane, Steve Kelly, Brent Laing, Chun Wing Lam, Ryan Lightheart, Scott McArthur, Andrew McKech- nie, Dave Moran, Dave Campbell and Jeff Sturch. Members of the Girls Team (BOT LT) were: Tiffany Thompson, Karen Vandergust, Heather Valentine, Amanda Beacock, Chris- tine Beaven, Jenn Ley, Krista Tremblay and Jen Small.
