 hat can be more exhilarat- Wing and challenging than running your own busi- ness? CCI Marketing and Retailing Students had an opportunity to manage and operate the School Store and the Popcorn Machine. The School Store
and Popcorn Machine provided some 40 busi- ness students with an opportunity to gain first- hand experience in the REAL WORLD of busi- ness as the students learned by doing. These people made decisions, provided input and energy and carried it off. Recognition goes to: Tina Allen , Stuart Ambrust , Jenn Char- min, Trevor Flint, Melissa Foster, Billy-Jo Hil- son, Shane Hunt, Sarah Lougheed, Alicia Lourie, Doug McNeil, Trevor McCarl, Shawna McCoy, Tanya McQuaid, Chris Osburn, Jac- quie Rowbotham, Kelly Scott, ian Thompson, Weston Trott and Wendy Wright. T.Q.T. is a new organization operating within the school. This dynamic group of students works to solve various problems which they have identified themselves. Solving these problems, such as garbage in the halls and outside in the school yard, is not always an easy task and the group involves everyone from administration to the custodians to the cafeteria staff in their work. Headed by Mrs. Wypich , members of this group are : Denise Marsh , Amanda Morrish, Amber Morrish, Brian Hoppie, Delara Skelton, Hugh
DRAMA is alive and well at CCI, whether it be within the classroom or with the club. Each year the Grade 11 Drama Program pre- pares a production to be presented to an au- dience. This year's play was entitled 'Live on Stage' and was an anthology of music, dance, monologues and scenes. It explored the chal- lenges of today's adolescents as they make clear and informed decisions about sexuality. It highlighted the realities of teenage frustra- tions and pressures, and was discussed by the actors in a very frank and open way. It was presented to all grade 9 and 10 CCI stu- dents and the local Public Health Unit fully supported the project. CCI was also invaded by busloads of elementary students who en- ergetically came to see the Grade 9 Drama production of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs '. The small children were act ively in- volved with the production and were most needed by the magic mirror that happened to be very hard of hearing. Throughout the
