FACE 2 FACE IN THE LAND OF OZ
e's missing a couple of toe nails and he has a large cut across one of his knees. Mr. Hunwicks put his age at about 20 years old, but no one seems to remember the exact date that he ap- peared at CCI. He cost $1500 and was born at Malibars, a costume design house in Toronto. His coat is tending to look quite matted, on close in-
spection, it becomes obvious that his eye has been patched and for anyone that has been inside, there's a strong scent that indicates he hasn't visited the bird bath in a long, long time. He doesn't have a lot to say and he usually just nods with his head. Has anyone ever even heard him 'HOOT'? Owls are nocturnal, but this bird is oblivious to this fact for he shows up at various events at any time of the day or night. Unlike
other species of his breed, he doesn't nest. He just curls up in the corner of Miss Fyfe's office. In spite of all of his faults. Ozzie is the most recognized personality on the Collingwood Collegiate grounds. He's a very popular guy (or is it a girl?) - there is simply no one at school who can't identify him in- stantly. He walks the halls and he is patted on the back. He appears at a football game and the fans cheer for him just as loud as they cheer for the home team. He has been seen wear- ing shorts for 'Fun in the Sun Day' and a red and white toque at Christmas. Girls have even been heard to comment that he is kinda cute. Its not everyday that you come FACE 2 FACE with a black and gold owl and this is definitely no ordinary bird!
