Each day, you observe several members of OUR faculty standing at the front of the classroom, TEACHING a lesson. However, you might not be aware that once outside of the school setting, the STAFF has many fascina- ting hobbies and interests, often unlike their subject. Mr. Purdy IS an avid science fiction reader and Mr. Pommer's pigeons are SO pri- zed, they are continually bringing home cham-
pionships. Mrs. Plater is a TERRIFIC knitter and OTHER than being a science head, Mr. Ed- wards is a walker. He trekked across Britain last summer. Not many SCHOOLS can boast about a math teacher who is building an air- plane in his basement- that's Mr. Taylor. Crafts of all sorts ARE Mrs. Berni's hobby while Mr. Berni loves cheering on the GREEN of the 'Fighting Irish'. Mr. J. Sneyd can be found
WITH his canoe, challenging the white water of northern rivers and many regard Miss Tatham's skill in gourmet cooking with great ENVY!
