Each autumn WHEN Thanksgiving rolls around, AN urgent demand is made upon our local food bank and our school provides assist- ance. Canned and dry goods ACCOUNT for the 1V2 tons accumulated. For a week prior to the holiday, a competition IS MADE tor home- rooms in an effort to see which OF CCI'S classes can bring in the most food for those in need in our COMMUNITY. As each day passes, the INVOLVEMENT by staff and students increases and IT'S ALWAYS a battle to finish IN THE lead. This year, we saw Mr. R. Sneyd's homeroom take top honours with Mr. Wilkinson's class in second place. Many thanks go to H. Sharp, J. Gordon, R. Holton, P. Mclean, A.Hazelwood, M. Dempsey, J. Crago, J. Buie, J. Gourlie, C. Seemann, J. Synnott, S. Garon, G. Quick, K. Have, J. Wong, B. Stransky , and J . Wrigley tor organizing this BLACK and gold event!
