         The Jr. Girls Basketball Team finished league play in second place. The team only lost one game during the regular season to a strong Eastview team. In the first round of p-layoffs, CCI met St. Joes . Under the leadership of Erin Shaw, Jen Ley and Laurie Stevenson, CCI rallied and came
from behind to defeat St. Joes by only 4 points. The young CCI team met a more experienced team from Twin Lakes in O rillia
in the next round of playoffs. Despite the best efforts of the team, Twin Lakes went on to win the game and a spot in the GBSSA Championships . Coaches Stoutenburg,

(MID RT) , Nicole Noseworthy, Erin Shaw,
Paula Smith, Laurie Stevenson (BOT RT) and Jodie Switzer.The Sr . Girls
(TOP LT) had a very successful season with only 1 league and 1 tournament loss.Their 16 wins is a Sr . Girls high. Led by veteran captain, Julie Crago (BOT MID) and M ichelle Dempsey
(MID LT) , the team had both speed and inside power . Center Laura Powers led the inside scoring while Tiffany Jarvis+ Kelly O'Neil crashed the boards for those important rebound points .Katherine Sencar and Robyn McCoy were called upon to play inside and outside while Angie Parks
(BOT CENT) and Nicole Millman provided the periphery shooting . Veteran Marj Klinck and rookie speedster Pareen Gill could change the games momentum with a few quick steals.
The outside 3 pt. work and ball handling was often left to guards Bobbie McNairn and Abby Gallacher.
