The Junior Owls posted a season record of 8 and 7 and finished third in the central division . They played a fast tempo game alternating full and half court pressure to create scoring opportunities. Outstanding offensive players over the season were Sasa Junuzovic inside, Mike Liotta at point guard and Ryan Rice and Matt Campbell from the perimeter .
Defensive play was keyea oy the efforts of Andrew Comly and Josh Frizell. The Juniors were extremely competitive and ended their season with a heartbreaking 70 -69 loss in the play-
offs . Coach Allard was impressed with their spirited play and looks forward to seeing them play at the senior level. W eir.The Senior Boys Team enjoyed another successful season as they made the playoffs for the 13th consecutive year .The Owls ended with a 4-2 win-loss record. They finished close to perfection as they lost their last 2 games to North and St. Joes in the GB final. The Sr. OWls (TOP MID) were paced by Simcoe County All-Star Tyler Finnie who led the team in points, assists, rebounds + dunks. Ivan Mather, was 2nd on the pt . chart while James Liotta ran the offense . Paul Civiera added punch while Justin Corriveau grabbed boards
and pta (Especially against St. Joes) .Mark Vancise added inspiration, Bryan Garon came off the bench to let it rain from the 3 pt stripe + John McPherson added more pts. Nick Comly + Craig Broadhurst hit as super jumpersĀ·, Joe Prokopec was excellent at hustling and Andrew Hooper created many steals.
