Last May, I0 senior students travelled from CCI to Midhurst to participate in the 14th Annual Simcoe County United Nations Simulation Game. CCI had a strong showing, coming in flrst overall. Participants dressed in costume repre- senting various countries and debated proposals on current world issues. Placing in the top ten positions were Eleanor Alexander !st., Blair Stransk:y 4th, Mandy Hickling 5th, Chris Horner 6th and Heather Valentine in 8th. Other team members were Glenna Riesberry, Catherine Hindson, Steve Crittenden,
Brad Jarman and Tim Wardell. Rob Sturch (MID RT) represents Afganistan and Crraham Jolmston (BOT RT) as
a member from Iraq. Brad and Niru- parna (BOT MID) were neighbouring countries. Members of CCI's Leader- ship 2025 Team t. (MID LT) were

(fOP LT) worked diligently to educate the student body about the repercussions of drinking and driving. Led by Angela
Hutchinson (MID RT) , OSAID en- joyed great successes in such under- tak.inss as 'The Chain of Life' in which every student and teacher had their nnmo linked in a chain and strung in the library. A death within the school would break the chain. 'Awareness Week' fea- tured tagging each car with a MADD ribbon, and Mrs. Wilkinson's 1st sem- ester homeroom won the Drug Trivia Contest. Ashley Miner was the winner of the OSAID Poster Contest and ,
of course, everyone loved the 'Com- puter Matches'. It is import-
ant that the OSAID message not be con- fined to the pages of the yearbook. As Amy Warne states, " Every OSAID members' common goal is about
