The 19 h ANNUAL TERRY FOX RUN went
off without a hitch, proving to the community that CCI was willing to "go the distance" for cancer research. Held at Harbourview Park, 95% ofthe volunteers were 'Fighting Owls'. Everyone, especially Chief Organiser Bill Homer, (TOP LT) did themselves proud in raising $1 0,1 00 for research. Thanks are ex- tended to the CCI contribution of$500, but
more importantly, the method in which this was raised. Everyone pulled together to sup- port Mr. Hunwicks (BOT LT) in his 10 km journey in the Ozzie outfit. Under the directi ofChefAngela Hutchinson(BOT MID) and her c~oking crew, the runners were treated
to a pancake breakfast after the run. Some ran, some roller- bladed. Michelle Whipps (RT) chose to ride her bike.
