This year, the Junior Girls Volleyball Team had a very successful season, going undefeated in regular season play. Highlights
included the team's participation in 3 tournaments, surviving the 'Survivors Game' at Hidden Valley and making the finals of the GBSSA championships. Excellent athletic ability combined with a competitive spirit, great teamwork and dedication to hard work really describes this year's team. Congratulations are extended to the girls for their terrific season. The Senior Girls Team continued to make progress throughout the season. They finished with a record of 5 wins and I loss in league play and then they advanced to the
51
South Simcoe Final where they upset the 1 place Banting Maurauders, earning the right to advance to the GB finals . The team attended four invitational tournaments with the highlight being a trip to Huntsville. CCI advanced to the final before loosing a closely contested match with a team from Oshawa. The team members and coache~ would like to wish our graduating mates of Candace Hare, Beth Anne Holbrook, Erin McAndrew, Jackie Morrill, Erin Shaw, Paula Smith and Laurie Stevenson all the best!
The Boys Soccer Team (mid centre) had a very successful season by having a league record of 5 wins and 2 losses. Their season ended with a sudden death playoff game against Elmvale with an se'cond overtime period of I -0. Coached McMillan and Nickel would like to congratulate all players for their effort throughout the season. Special mention must go to the graduating seniors of Jason Gillham, Bill Lloyd, Scott Andrews and Josh Frizell.
