       Once again, the 20°' Annual Terry Fox Run was organised by Bill Horner and was extremely well attended, raising money for cancer research. CCI's own Jason Gillham ran the entire !Okm in the Ozzie outfit. Well done, Jason!

'Free The Children' is an international network of children helping children. Founded 5 years ago, by then 12 year Craig Kielburger of Toronto, the organisation has now grown to have chapters in 27 countries with over 100, 000 members. The CCI group was founded in Feb., 2000 and in its first few months, raised over $2000 to install a fresh water system in a community in Nicaragua and hosted a community forum. This year, the group was responsible for 'Halloween for Hunger' and The Christmas Cabaret. Members from CCI are: Angela Hutchinson, Lindsay Clarke, Michelle Ainger, Anne Vandergust, Jen Belanger, Kate McKerracher, Leeanne McGregor, Amy Warren, Krystal Forsyth and Chun Lam. Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving is a provincially run organization whose main objective is to promote the dangers of drinking and driving. CCI's chapter had a busy year as they presented many fun-
filled events such as a poster contest, a float in the Santa Claus parade, and special guest speakers and of course, the ever popular computer love matching! Members ofOSAID were: Angela Hutchinson (Pres), Leslie Crittendan, Jen Templeman, Jessica Cox, Kate McKerracher, Chun Lam, Melissa Girardin (Gr II - check spelling)'and Mr. Pearce. Josh Moore was the winner ofthe Poster Contest and was awarded a prize of$50.00. Amnesty International
is an organisation that believes in preserving human rights through fund- raising programmes, letter writing and awareness. This year, the group had two successful awareness programmes for 'Children's Rights Day' and 'Human Rights Day'. A huge earthquake demolished our school in El Salvador, which was built in 1993, this year. Fundraising with bake sales, donations and mooch buckets meant that CCI was able to send money and two truck loads offood, clothing and blankets. The Amnesty leaders were Veronica Downie and Melissa Girardin. The members were LeeAnne McGregor, Amy Warne, Kate McKeracher, Kyle Bailey, Chun Lam, Andrew McKechnie, Krystle Forsythe, Angela Hutchinson, Jessica Cox and Jenn Templeman.
