            ~Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow~
In September, Marcie Chaudet decided to cut her long locks and donate the hair to 'Wigs For Kids', an organization that makes wigs for children going through chemotherapy. A photo appeared in the paper and this inspired Paula Smith to put together a hair drive at CCI. After much decision, 14 girls volunteered to have their tresses cut. Miss Pearson came on board and also volunteered for a cutting provided the students could raise $1000. Jesse Worsell and Lori Hutchinson provided tremendous support at collecting donations
from the student body with Lori herself giving the largest donation . Over a two week period, the final total was over $2000 in collections with more money to still be added. Thanks are extended to: Carly Dale, Desiree Marcotte, Miranda Peer, Adriana Bell, Casey MacLeod, Lindsay Wee!, Lara Bailey, Jen Frith, Alica Agnew, Jessica Webber, Barb Fazzari, Cheryl Kemsley and Miss Pearson. A round ofapplause is also extended to Paula, Lori and Jesse as well as Carol Spooner of 'Oiivier's'.
