OSAID, (BLOW) a group set out to prevent drinking and driving, accomplished a lot this year. As they participated at the Giant Garage Sale, and gave out ribbons and flyers detailing the effects of drinking and getting behind the wheel. The poster contest turned out some great results, and the prizes were at the Christmas Assembly along with a rendition of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'. Every Valentine's Day brings 'Love Matches' in the school, with the funds raised going towards drinking and driving awareness. We also had a huge campaign before May 24 weekend, because besides Christmas it is the most haz- ardous time of year for drunk driving accidents. Quarter cards at the poem every year also helps promote getting home alive. We had a great year and will be back next year!
