Y o ho yo ho, it's a pirate's life forme!Ablackeyepatch, apeg leg and the parrot on the shoul- der are accessories most often associated with the pirated of the Caribbean or the Barbary Coast. The typical attire was not limited to these accesso- ries. Women were not allowed on board most pirate ships so they had to disguise them- selvesinmen'sclothing.Hope- fully, this folly would grant them equal treatment. Turban- like headgear was worn by the
seafarers along with a dashing red sash around the waist. A huge leather belt was sported, nottoholduptheruggedcalico trousers,butwasusedforhold- ing a cutlass and was placed over the shoulder. At the CCI Halloween Dance, several pi- rates were in attendance and many individuals must have battled with this gruesome group based on the amount of I cuts' and I scars' on their faces. Other individuals posed as clowns or women with very deep voices.
ThequeenofPlayboybunnies,Katie Blacha (RT), was looking good on the dance floor . Good enough to make Pier Pistone (LT), exchange student from Italy, proud as she wins Best Female Costume in the Halloween costume contest. Let's see if she can follow the white rabbit to winning the prize next year.
