The Boy's Hockey Team completed another successful season just before the \1arch Break. Unfortunately for the squad they fell short in the semi- final game for he third year in a row . in spite of this there were many moments to be proud of. The
,""~~"'"""""~--.., team finished with a 13-10- 2 record against top flight competition from around the province. Tournaments were played in Orangeville , Palmerston and Burlington. The team would like to build a fond farewell to Jamie Kerr and Jayme Hastings. These two players were a part of the very first team three long years ago. In addition the coaches want to wish all graduating players the best of luck in their futures. Don't be strangers. Finally a warning to all those players who are playing the teachers. Keep your heads up!
The Girls' Hockey Team faced a rebuilding year this year. Things looked )mising at the beginning of the season, as we had the biggest tryout we've ever had. lot of new grade 9 girls came out and formed a solid, hardworking, dedicated crew. E!'ll need their skills in years to come.
The season was a tough one for the girls, one that tested their character and dication. There were many positives this season, including a 4-lloss to Jean Vanier, E!amwhohadbeatenus12-0inourfirstmeetingthisyear. Ourringetteplayersmade ~conversion well, even learning the offside rule! The Fighting Owls will definitely
a force to be reckoned with in the future.
