When 'The Wizard of Oz' was made in 1939, comp
computer animation were dreams in the far future. At the time,
hadto beproducedwithalotofmakeupandvery~...6 ..~~.. '-'1HJUU\.JL~. fact, the film was considered so ahead of its' time that it was nOIJltrlatc:~d
an Oscar award for it's' special effects. It took hours for
monkeys, the Wicked Witch, Munchkins and other
make-up applied to create the various funny faces. In the .._,...,.,.,,,.,~
funny faces appear on the students and staff constantly. The c
out and it becomes a 'Kodak' moment. We can all recall vivid )lle:m<>nc:~s of the Wicked Witch's face striking fear in us as we watched
small children. At CCI, the many silly looks captured don't
we look at the photos and instantly smile! Making each other
precious gift that we give each other!
