aving a part-time job is as common to a Hstudent at CCI as homework, listening to music and surfing the internet. One hundred percent of those surveyed agreed that the need for employment was due to a need for money followed by parents advising their sonor
daughter to get a job. Most students will save a portion of their earnings, but their goals are varied. The vast majority had a savings account for college or university. Others were saving for ' other purposes- to get and pay for a vehicle especially insurance, to support sp ort; programmes, to buy a laptop, to pay for Driver's Ed, pay off a monthly cell phone bill and to purchase clothes. Most students have held their jobs for less than 1 year. Often as exams near or many subjects have common deadlines with essays and projects the need to work part- time often becomes stressful. It is not always easy balancing school and a job. Add to this playing on a team , and also having some free time and it spells a very busy life for a CCI student.
