           WORDS OF WISDOM FROM
MOM TO REMEMBER
BEFORE YOU
LEAVE HOME!
THERE'S A TIME TO BE SERIOUS...
There is an old saying 'How time flies!' and it is never more appropriate than when applied to the years spent at high school. Before you know it, the 4 years have slipped quickly by and those who were once referred to as ' minor niners' are now on their way to college, university or the work place. I f given the opportunity , some would give anything to turn the clock back to that first year at CCI so that different choices could have been made. 'lfl only knew then what I know now!' Erin Plesa- Topham wished that she had tried out for more sports teams and gone to more school dances. Ayrlea Manchester agrees- she wishes that she would have participated more in school activities. Leigh Lepage would have liked to be a member of more teams and would have done All of her homework!Corey Scott would have made a different choice in the courses that he picked. Kate Bendel! would have studied much harder and completed all assignments on time. Others like Brooke Caskie would never want to relive those last 4 years at CCI. She is ready to move on. 'Never wish your life away!' The senior students are much different from the individuals that arrived at Collingwood Collegiate's doorstep in 2002. 'Old enough to know better- young enough to not care! ' T oday ' s graduating student is bigger, better and bolder, according to Briley Cosgrove. Robyn Duke describes her peers as ambitious, involved and directed whileRandi- Lynn Grant Hose prefers terms such as calm, mature and knowledgeable. 'Always mind your manners!' Whatever choices our senior students make, they leave with a backpack filled with a strong education, thesuppmt of teachers, friends and parents and a multitude of fond memories. Amelia Lockhart looks back on ' E v e r y o n e a t C C I h a v i n g s u c h a n i m p a c t o n m e . I ' 11 never forget this place.' Keep your eyes on the road!
