IN 'The Wizard ofOz' , the viewer sees Dorothy gathering apples in the orchard with the Scare Crow and as she kneels down to pick up one particular attractive piece of fruit, she taps on a foot. As she stands, she comes face to face with the Tin Man. Throughout her travels in the land of Oz, she isn't seen eating. However, in our Land of Ozzie, the inhabitants are continually snacking. Lunch is consumed either in the cafeteria, the restaurant or outside in one of the local fast food places. The students have vast choices on the food selection. The majority choose to either bring their lunch from home or to go out. The most popular menu item picked from the cafe is poutine followed by pizza. Too bad that Dorothy didn't land in the world of
Ozzie. She wouldn't have been limited to just apples!
