Eighteen students participated on the
Alpine Ski Team this year with
excellent results from the mens Level
1 and 2 teams. Both teams looked
like they were in contention for the
gold medal at the GBSSA finals but placed 2nd overall in Simcoe County
and as a team did not qualify to go to
the Ontario Championships. Grade
12 student, Ryan Baulke qualified
and raced at his second OFSAA
championship, placing in the top 15.
Ashley Heenan dominated the Ladies
Level 1 races all winter and also
qualified for OFSAA, placing 4th in
the slalom event and top 20 in the GS.
