Living in a democratic country such as Canada, we have the priviledge to vote and elect who will run our country. This is a right that many people take for granted, especially
young folks. In an attempt to get students more involved with the political process, the province of Ontario, staged their own mock election.
The results of this great initiative showed that the students of Collingwood Collegiate had the environment on their minds. The Green party took first place, followed closely by the NDP, then PC, with the Liberals coming in last place. Thanks goes out to the Canadian World Studies department for organizing this event.
