Th e Collingwood Collegiate Senior Girls team had a thrill ing and pwerful z season, just losing out in the GBSSA Finals to St. Joan of Arch. As they
started on the road to the finals, the team ranked 4th, met Eastview, ranked
5th. In a heart stopping, minute by minute game, the girls pulled out a gutsy
and tough win 53-49. The most exciting serise was the GBSSA semi- final
where the team was neck and neck with a strong innisdale team . The girls
fought back in the second half to over power their opponents and win 37-32 0 in a fairytale ending. Many tournaments, including an exciting second place
finish in the north bay invitational made for a great basketball season.
Overall, ending up GBSSA finalist and having a 12-10 win-loss record made this season memorable and showed that this team never gave up! Congraduations girls, and good luck in all your future endeavours.
