Junior Football
"The Junior Fighting Owls had no where to go but after their opening games. They were forced to rework and change the things that 'made them so successful just one year before. Believing that success was no accident, they worked night and day to peifect their game. They won their first game six weeks into the season , beating Eastview and then one week later they tied with Basting. In the quarter finals the Owls met Bear Creek, the number two team, and demolished them by a score of 30-7. The semi-finals was an intense game right to the closing seconds an the owls came out on top with a great defensive stand winning by a score of 19-14. In the finals the Owls met Banting Marauders and the offence scored while the defence stood strong until the final buzzer winning by a score of 13-6. The Owls went from worst to first with back to back Championships." -Coach Sammon

This year, our Junior Football team started rough, but thanks to the determination of coaches and players, came from behind and won the GBSSA A A A A Junior Football Championship. This became one of the most memorable seasons in CCI football history!
