The 2013-2014 hockey season for the Owls was a season to remember as the boys achieved a record. The season included a preseason tournament to Midland and our very own in Collingwood. The team will most definitely continue the success in the seasons to come as many of the strong athletes will be returning. Coach Hammond looks forward to the return of the Fighting Owls on the ice in November.

Coaches McMillin and Matchett are proud to say they coached the first girls varsity hockey team to ever make it to GB finals in CCI
history. The unbelievable season was a 19-2-1 , the girls participated in two tournaments winning both Midland and our own invitational tournament with 3-0. In the finals, the girls handily won against Eastview, then advanced and proudly won the semi final games against St. Theresas, 2-1 , with a real match with a lack of bodies and had great effort from every team member. The girls unfortunately lost in the • finals to Bearcreek with 3-2. McMillin would like to add that never before in hockey history moment where during a play has a player (Devon Viragh) asked a coach to "hold her phone" then return to the game.
