This year's Badminton team got off to a great start. We had many individuals come out and participate, including many new Grade 9 players. All players had a chance to compete in friendly tournaments and daily match-ups at practises to improve their technique, learn new skills and become better players. Each player worked on a different skill set and came out of the season as better players. Rachel Grant, Sora Davidson, Jill de Rijke, Jaden Dankevy, Trevor Langford, Ryan Havens and Khaleel Gandhi all went to Junior Regionals at Joan of Arc to compete against other schools. Each player came out with new experience and things that they could improve on. Heather Jones, MacKenzie Robinson, Riley Christensen, Taylor Hanley, Josh Doray and Bryer Kendall all competed at the Senior Regionals at Jean Vanier. Congratulations to Bryer Kendall for placing 2nd at the Regionals and advancing to GBs! Coaches Hy and Nicoll would like to commemorate the team on their efforts throughout the season and wish Bryer good luck at GBs. See you next year!
