Deep Gratitude for Tanya's good memory!

Originally born and raised in Scarborough, we moved to a small hobby farm near the Loree Forest. I attended Beaver Elementary School in Thornbury for Grades 7 and 8, then attended Georgian Bay Secondary School in Meaford for Grade 9. In the summer of 1977, we moved into Collingwood and I attended CCI from September 1977 through to June 1980. From June 1988 until around July 1998, I worked at the "Lemmerz Magna Reynolds Alcoa" Aluminum Wheel Manufacturing plant in Collingwood. From August 1998 through August 2005 I worked at the Simcoe County District School Board as a Certified Network Technician. I had a remote office at CCI and travelled to our family of elementary schools on a weekly basis. Since September 2005, I have been employed with the Upper Grand District School Board as a Secondary School Teacher. Originally I started scanning and posting the Gleaners I had on a Facebook group and people liked them and offered to contribute theirs. Things just kinda snow-balled..... and I ended up meeting with John and Ralph Sneyd who are the curators of the "Black and Gold Society" and the Alumni's archives. They graciously leant me many books and artefacts. Unfortunately, I no sooner had everything published online, then - BAM...the internet browsers discontinued their support of Flash.... which all the books had been created in. After a decade went by, I decided to re-visit my project and see if I could bring it back to life. I have re-created all the books into HTML5, (and added in another decade) and with the assistance of Nick Brindisi (tech guru extraordinaire) I have been able to re-post all the Gleaners here for everyone to enjoy!

Cool thanks for sharing! I got to look at a year book from when I was in grade 9 and haven't seen the gleaner since I was a teenager.
