Sherman Tay"!lor-A human wild-cat, turns, flips, handsprings, twists into knots all before breakfast. Dark and grim in looks. Detected by his lame knee when there is some work to be done.
Catherine MacArthur-A jolly sort of lady, shortly stout, and very sensitive to touch. Captain of the softball team, and can be recognized by her favorite expression, "Aw, g'wan.''
Elsie Seiggel-Tall, gaunt, and good-looking, eyes like coals of fire. Recognized by her laugh. Official bell ringer of deceased c. c. I.
Gertrude O'Malley-The sweet Irish rose of the Fifth Form. Wears glasses with a sweet smile. Recognized by her cute little brogue (shoes).
Edith HiH-Silent, fair, almost speechless, but has strong arms and quick feet. Recognized by her death-like silence.
Dorothy Lunan-A sweet, dark, charming girl. Large, bright, gleamy eyes. Recognized by her favorite expression, "Does that sound right'?"
Jean Fletcher-The only girl in the fifth that still sticks to long hair. Recognized by her hatred for all males.
Jack Shields--A boy with many years ahead of him. A great power of speech. Belongs to the editorial staff. Recognized by his oratory.
Duncan McQueen-A Scotch lad as tight as a fiddle string and as strong as the front legs of a giraffe. Hatred for all fe- males. Financial agent for Janie Stephens. Recognized by his favorite expression, "Hoot, mon.''
Elwood Hughes-Slow, .long swinging arms, takes no interest in anything but his looks. Detected by his walk which is like a Wall Street millionaire.
Harold Shipley, alias "Ship"-Comes to school once a fortnight. A regular shiek. Recognized by his wide Oxford bags.
Ernest Rolling-Brother of the famous poet, Ronald Rolling. Dark hair. Detected by his straight stemmed pipe in which he burns Alberta coal.
Philip Fitzrnortimeter Bedenharn, alias "Flip"-Treasurer of the Literary Society. White, slick hair, thrifty lad with an un- quenchable line of chatter. Detected among girls.
Doris Herrington-Fifth Form's dreamer. Good-looking, with fluffy hair. Recognized with a tall member of the mascu- line sex.
Kenneth Siddall-Last, but by no means least. A very stout lad of great political views. A great Conservative with a fluent language. Recognized by his favorite expression, "The Lib- eral Government is all bunk."
