Following this he sold his servic-es to the Montreal Maroons, winners of the Stanley Cup that season. Later he was found with the Canadiens, Providence, the Detroit Olympics, Detroit Cougars and now is holding dov·n the left wing berth of the Olympics. ·

MICHAEL (MIKE) BROPHY -
A younger brother of Bernie, who supports the old saying that "hockey al ility usully · runs in the family." Mike played Junior O.H.A. in Col- lingwood and also f.or the Owen Sound Greys (both runners up for the title). He stepped into Pro. com- pany wif:h the Millionaires and from there wandered to Providence, hence to 0 e 1\ illif;r.ains ng~in, then to Hamilton and now is a regular on the Cleveland Indians Can-Pro. leaders.
His scoring is most noticeable since his st2:n into professionalism. He has just turned professional in another departm:mt of sport having acc•epted a :r:osition as assistant Pro.

ROY (BUTTER) BURMISTER- Another small man who has made good in hockey is "Butter", an old Gollegia;te favorite and graduate. He played with Collingwood and Owen Sound Greys both semi-finalists; and like the majority of his co-matr..l:3 joined the money makers. He played for Niagara Falls for thr-ee years and this year stepped up with faster·
company and made good with th~ New Y ork Americans.

A Collingwood boy of the best calil:re, who has played on l::oth goorl
and bad teams (mostly good). H ;:) was a junior on the local O.H.A.
The 1929 Football season marked the first time that the C.C.I. played in an original league. The Georgian Bay Rugby-Football League consists of the three schools, Barrie C.I., Owen Sound C.I. and Collingwood C. I. A schedule was drawn up at the beginning of the season
