playas a real accomplishment , because the club was once
more informed a little of its opportunity of doing a one
act play for the Commencement. The rehearsals for the play were held for the most part in the art room inasmuch as the Glee Club were practising in the auditorium. This made things difficult, as the stage especially in such a short time, was an essential part of the preparation. However,
the play much'to the surprise of the staff supervisor and director, as well as of the players came off quite well. The people who made up the cast of the play were Frances Hartle,
~larlene ·Lane, Jean McIvor, Audrey Richardson and Geraldine Ward. Don Dean and George Christie set the stage doing a remarkable job in the l Gngth of time .they had. The play was directed by Hal Dempster and the staff supervisor was Miss D. Gordon.
The president--Hal Dempster·; the Vice President-- Georgie Ann Munro; the Sec~etary-Treasurer--Marlene Lane; and the Staff SupervisoT--Miss IT. Gordon wish to say that with your co-:-operation and help we can build a Drama Club that could provide you with entertainment as well as pro- viding the Student's Council, and thus you, with money.
But we do need persons to work behind the scenes; and we do mean work; those who will htilp us by learning fundamental stage actions. Then we, can do plays, make money and have
a good. time doing it, and at -che same time we Hill better drama whether you are on the stagG or behind the scenes or in the audience.
