 SENIOR FOOTBALL TEAM
The senio~ team was not as successful this year but they played hard. Sparked by Jake Taylor, they gave the Midland, Orillia and Barrie teams a tough time but could not win. One game stands out in the season as being a good one, although they always did give the spectators some-
thing exciting to watch. This game was in Midland, played on three inches ~ of snow. Only in the final minutes did the Midland club stop an end to
end march b' the Collingwood boys in an attempt to overtake them.
The senior team was made up mostly of last year's junior club gradu- ates, although some veterans such as Taylor and Grier provided a good foundation.
