THE ROLE OF HOME ECONOMICS
Home Economics embraces many interrelated fields, namely, foods, nutrition, clothing, textiles, related art, housing, household equipment and fur- nishings, home management, family economics, child development, and family relations. At all grade levels, Home Economics can develop intellectual competency and can stimulate analytical thinking. This implies that all instruction and all experiences will be planned in such a way that emphasis will be placed on funda- mental principles, their interrelationships, and their application to personal and family living.
