Radio Club
by Len Kilius
This year plans for the organization of a ham radio club were brought into reality. Amateur Radio is a scientific hobby, a means of gaining personal skill in the fascinating art of electronics and an opportunity to communicate with our
fellow citizens around the world by private radio. On itsformation the Club received a welcome response from the school. This was noted when
twenty girls and boys became members.
Their operations include the study of radio fundamentals, Morse Code, the operation of equipment, and the building of a radio station. As it stands, the Club has a bright future, and special acknowledgement must be made of the efforts put forth by Mr. Tranter in the or-
ganization of this Club.
