Ski Club
The ski club has flourished under the capable quidance of Mr. Culbert, with an iqcrease in membership to eighty skiers.
The equipment has been improved and some used skis and poles were purchased from club members.
Reduced lift rates were in effect every Wed- nesday when the club went skiing. Lessons for fifty cents were available each week to the regular skiers while the racers obtained lessons on Tuesday at Georgian Peaks. Out sincere thanks go to Mr. Jozo Weider and the Blue Mountain Ski School for the services which they provided.
The Collegiate Ski team consisting of Cathy Card, Sue Harvie, Anna Throop, Beth Westlake, Mary Lou Wilde, Ron Culbert, Dave Hammill, Ian MacMurchy, Ron Picot, Tom Schleifer, and Steve Scott placed second at the GBSSA champ- ionships at Horseshoe Valley on January 29.Mem- bers of this team also competed at North Bay on
February 4, in the OFSSA championships.
The Ski Club sponsored a dance, as it did last year, with music provided by the fabulous
Marcatos. The dance was held in the gym.
On Thursday, March third, the annual club races were held. The winners of the races are
