Senior Basketball
Although they were not overly successful, the team is to be commended for their spirit and enthusiasm. Also to be commended is their sportsmanship in winning and losing with equal grace. The victories for the team came with the
defeat of Owen Sound, OD C VI, and Alliston. The girls wish to extend their gratitude to Miss Frost for all of her time and effort in
coaching the team.

Junior Basketball
The Junior Girls team consisted of mainly first year players this year. The highlight of the season came with their victory over Elmvale in an exhi]Jition game at home. This was the sole win of the season, but the team was showing promise toward the end and perhaps next year will show even more improvement. Not once during the entire season did the girls become so discouraged
as to give up. They deserve high commendation for this spirit.
The only injury this year was toCherolyn McKean, who tore the muscles in her finger, but recovered in time for the final games.
The girls wish to thank Miss Meek for her time and encouragement thus helping the team to come through some difficult moments.
