With the enlargement of the BAA executive this year, the opportunity of organizing intramurals was spread somewhat wider. Only Soccer was a disappointment in intra m u r a 1s this year and it was the fault of the weather.
The BAA along with the GAA sponsored two successful social events this year. Sports Night in November was very successful. It is not something new, but having a band for the dance afterwards is. The Twirp Dance this year also had something different. Couples could get married at the Dance for fifty cents. Of course, this was only a tempor- ary marriage permit. The Mr. and Mrs. Twirp contest was brought back. The contest was won by Anna Throop and George Best.
The BAA also sponsored a basketball game between the intermediates and teachers plus a record hop afterwards. This was highly successful, except for the fact that the teachers won the game.
I would like to thank everybody who helped in the BAA, our advisors, and Mr. Brock and his maintenance staff for all of their help.
In closing, I would like to say that if you have an idea that could help future BAA activities, don't be afraid to speak up. I received a great deal of help this year, but I could have used still more. We are working for you, so you help us.
